Re: Can't measure 325C64 bridge pickup
If you measure a stock 325c64 at the point where the neck and middle duo are soldered to the toggle switch, and with the toggle switch in the treble setting (to isolate them from the circuit) you should see approx 4k ohms. If you measure the point where the bridge pickup is soldered to the toggle s...

Re: Can't measure 325C64 bridge pickup
There's no difference between the pickups. If you're reading 9 meg it must be a measurement problem. There is a .0047 cap connected to the bridge pup in the wiring harness. It's common to take them out or jump them -- your friend's might have had that done? Thank you for your reply. I don't see how...

Can't measure 325C64 bridge pickup
I just got my first 325C64, it was built in 2008. A friend of mine also has a 325C64, his was built in 2006. We plugged in each of our guitars into the same amp, (one at a time). The middle/neck pickups put out the same volume for both guitars, but his bridge put out more volume then mine. So we ope...

Re: What happened to the AC-30?
Over at a friends house, he has an early 2000 or late 90's UK made AC30, he borrowed a AC30CC2x and there was no comparison when put side by side, (we tried the normal channel only, for the cleanest possible sound) The AC30CC2x sounded muffled compared to the UK made which sounded bright and chimey....

Re: Lennon's vocal parts on "This Boy", "If I Fell"
Good post! I have never been able to nail John's part from "If I Fell." Mike, someone is supposed to show me that vocal, if i get it and think it's right, i'll send it to ya .... :) For "This Boy" ...still a little up in the air about this one, Lennon definitely sings the low me...

Re: Lennon's vocal parts on "This Boy", "If I Fell"
I'm pretty sure John sings the lower part in this boy (the melody) hmmmm ? ...i also think John sings the melody line below Paul's, but that George sang a lower harmony below Johns ? If you listen to the BBC recordings, John is definitely singing the lowest of the 3 parts. George is in the middle, ...

Lennon's vocal parts on "This Boy", "If I Fell"
I find these 2 songs some of the toughest to hear exactly what voice Lennon is singing in the verses. For "This Boy", i think Lennon is singing the middle part, Paul the high (as usual :) ) and George the lower. For "If I Fell" ....again easy to hear John singing the lower part i...

Beatle band looking for "Paul" - Toronto area
