Re: What's the lead time these days on a 325c64?
MF would never discount Ricks for me, tried many times. They did a price match -10% for one of my Ricks, but then stopped doing price matches. I buy a lot of things from MF, but not Ricks.

Re: Bigsby for a 330
So I'm confused after reading all the posts.
I would like to add a vibrato to my 360, but without drilling holes.
Are my only options a modded B16 and a Rick Accent Vibrato ?
Thanks
Kevin

Re: Tuning a 12 string
I messed up, it's a new 1993plus. Really like the wider string spacing.

Tuning a 12 string
I got my new 1997 12 string. It played great, good action etc.
I decided to tune down 1/2 step, when I did this I got a little fret buzz, which was expected but didn't want to make any adjustments.
I tuned back up to standard tune and was still getting buzz on the low E. The way I tuned it was Ee ...

Re: 1993 Plus Feedback
I ended up with one. The 1993 feel very different than the 381. For one thing the body thickness is less.
Also with the wider fretboard, playing it is much easier, even with small fingers.
I would recommend those looking at a 12 string to seriously consider the 1993.

Now recommendations on where you can buy plastic and the cutters.
Amazon is always good if you have recommendations.
I'm interested in plastic parts in general for guitar picks, stands etc.
Thanks

Can you recommend a good stencil pro kit?
Sounds like it would be useful for several projects.

Guess you could try to make your own, long as it was for your own use.
I've always wondered what it would take to make plastic parts for a variety of items (guitars, pinballs, etc.)
Always wanted to try airbrushing.

Re: 1993 Plus Feedback
How about playability?
With the 381 I have problems holding down the E & A string sets.
The bass string is large and the octave string small, so when I push down harder it sometimes will mute out a close string.
I have small hands, but it still is difficult.

1993 Plus Feedback
Looking at a 1993 Plus.
I already own a 381/12, but was wondering how much different the 1993 would be?
Thanks

Re: Rickenbacker 660 Accoutrements
One of the reasons I bought the Ruby/Gold was that I liked the gold.
My other Ricks have white, this one is different and looks good.
The gold goes good with the flake in the Ruby.

Re: Rickenbacker 660 Accoutrements
Love the 660, I added the accent vibrato and a roller bridge.
I have small hands, but find the 660 easier to play than the 360.
The thin body on it makes it nice and different from my other guitars.

Re: New 381 V69 that almost spoke to me!
I'm assuming you have the 6 string?
Changing strings should not be too bad as long as you don't take them all off at once.
Use some blue painter's tape to hold the string onto the tail, or use a capo or two to hold the tension.

Re: 660 questions
could be the nut seeing as the bridge is at its highest.
What if you take the nut out of the loop by fretting. Seems like having the bridge at the highest would not be preferable either.
Have you sighted the neck? Any bow either way?
If it's unplugged then I would say, a new set of strings may ...

Re: 660 questions
I just bought a 660, the strings are top to bottom through the tailpiece, but that shouldn't make a difference in the problem you're having.
You may try a different cable, wiggling the cable/connector, different strings. The other possibility could be with the tone pot. There are also some ...
