Kevin, that is it!!! Thank you. I knew I saw that somewhere. Why only one? Looks like that would be another best-seller -- as if all Ricks aren't!

Thanks, guys. Now I see why I couldn't find anything on the search engine. 1993, not 1997. I thought, though, that they were recently reissued as a special edition model in Monty Brown and given the moniker 1993 SPC or something like that. Am I wrong again?

1997 12 string

Hey, guys.

Did I read somewhere that RIC had issued some model 1997 12's a while back? I did a search but I couldn't find anything. Any ideas?

Thanks, Paul. I already did. I should have thought to search before I bothered you, but I wasn't sure about the spelling. I happened to remember John also mentioned the curmudgeon thing, so I found it. You certainly have the problem covered. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. I have ...

Paul, thanks for the response. I want to make sure I don't ruin my Ricks carelessly now that I have finally managed to get a couple that I am really proud of.
John Williams was telling me that you have a great knowledge of what to do when a scratch is discovered on a Rick. I found one that my belt ...

Scratch Pad Velvet Guitar Finish Protector

Can anyone recommend the use of these pads on Ricks? Are they really safe for the finish? I have never used them, but I need something for when I forget to cover my belt buckle.

Thanks, John. I guess the AC-30 thing is the last frontier for me and the George Guitar. But, if it sounds any better than through my Fender Ultimate Chorus and a JangleBox, I will definitely be in the zone. I don't know if a 58 year old Beatle fan could take that!!

Thanks, Mark. I am so proud of it now, I feel as if I should be passing out cigars or chocolate.

Thanks, Kevin. Those pix are eye openers to me. I have been playing and looking mine over pretty thoroughly since it arrived on Thursday. I was really disappointed when I first opened the case and saw the pink, but now I think I am getting used to it a little better. The thing feels and plays so ...

Thanks, guys. I am very excited and grateful to own one, even with the pinkglo. I can still remember going to see A Hard Day's Night when it first came out and getting introduced to George's 12 string. It was love at first sight, but I would have never thought that 40 years later I would still be ...

Wow! You guys really got into this paint thing. Nice. Well, the 360c63/12 Pink Panther arrived on Thursday and I made a few pix for fun. I really love how it plays and handles, especially through my Janglebox. Anyone like to hazard a guess as to which chord I played first after tuning it up?

Paul, you said "My Sony digital (second from top of their "prosumer" line) messes up purples, greens and blues under fluorescent lights."

I have found on my Sony DSC1 if you adjust the white balance it clears that up. Sometimes I have to do it manually because the AWB won't always work correctly.

Paul, you certainly may beg to differ with me on the subjective thing, but if I understand clearly what you just said, I think we are saying virtually the same thing but with moderate diversity. I would also respectivefully add to my position that not only our monitors but our printers can vary a ...

Mark, thanks for the photos. I see what you mean. I can live with the orange just fine. That sort of reminds me of the vintage amber that a lot of guys say the wood takes on as it ages. I was looking at a photo of George's 360/12 in Beatles Gear and the center of it seems to have a sort of orange ...

Thanks for the responses, guys. I must say I like a pink center for my steaks, but not my guitars. That is a little troubling to me. The pictures I have seen didn't look pink, but we all know that color is subjective in photography. I guess I will just have to hope that mine is not too pink.
