Just curious on the 1998 Collin/guys, do you or anyone have any idea how many were shipped over in total particularly in 64? Id love to know more about this model? There doesnt seem to be too many around looking at the ones that have been registered.

Welcome Gaz!

Lovely 1998 there, congrats. 8)

It looks identical to my own (from May '64) - what month was yours made?

Hi Collin, many thanks for the welcome. Amazingly mines a May guitar too DE520. Amazing! Found a relative of mine already! :D We'll need to bake birthday cakes for next moths ...

Re: Newbie to the Register - 64' Rickenbacker Model1998

Very nice guitar! Welcome to the Forum... :D :D

Hi Gary, thanks very much for that, yeah the trem is kind of locked. Its a little unsightly so I guess I'll remove next string change ...

Re: Newbie to the Register - 64' Rickenbacker Model1998

Hi Scotty, many thanks for the welcome. Its curiously 2 bits of threaded bar jacking the string section of the accent up. Im too chicken to remove them right now its its playing really nice.
