Richard blues is my thing too and thru a cranked amp it sounds awesome,used it last night on a gig and my B6 stayed in its case,also no tuning stability issues.Love to see apic of yours.Cheers from OZ

That is a very interesting piece,I have just acquired a cast aluminium lap with what appears to be a very similar casting a slight rounder wing area but the string thru area neck etc are identical.Mine has National on the peghead and a Regal sticker at the tail.The pickup is a very old Stimson from ...

Prewar Vs Postwar B6

Having just turned over a Postwar T logo B6 for a Prewar or Wartime B6 I had some interesting observations.The Prewar body has a high jet black gloss with the top edge bevelled that looks hand finished.The white plates appear enamelled and made from heavy duty metal.The 1 1/2" horseshoe comes in at1 ...

David,thanks for the pic that green one looks like the same builder although a later model.I knew the builder back in the 60's he made me a couple of amps around '63 his name was Peter Mc Carthy his amp line was called Maxim and he built a few one off special order guitars.He rarely put a name on ...
