Third Generation Rickenbacker Player

Re: If Rickenbacker Didn't Exist
Alternative universe question. If Rickenbacker guitars did not exist: 1) would The Beatles have been as big as they were ... YES! 2) would you have found/bought other guitars that act as a Ric substitute ... NO! How could one have a substitute for a guitar that didn't exist? 3) for those who own a ...

My first post on the RRF was 11/25/00. However, I had been on the Alt.Guitar.Rickenbacker for a few years before the RRF was created.

Re: Thoughts on Playing Lead on Rick
I'm going to address the first question only. I'm of the option, why not. I'd venture to guess that al least 98% of your audience doesn't care what kind of guitar you're playing.jcreasy wrote:One question is has anyone covered the kind of lead territory referenced above with a Rick? ...

Bass Amp Recommendations
I need some bass amp recommendations since a '15 4003 LH FG followed me home yesterday. I'm looking for something for a beginner like me to use at strictly at home and that is relatively inexpensive. It seems to me that a small quality combo would be the best route, but I would consider a small head...
