The only thing I don't like about my Club Bass is the fact that you can't get the pickups low enough to not interfere with the strings when you're trying to obtain decent action.

I'm using XM on a trial basis that came with my new car. I'm hooked on 150 the comedy channel. I only live three miles away from work so I'm wondering if it would be worth the subscription.

I think from a business perspective it may have been the wrong move. Fender has the MIM/MIA basses, and in some ways the quality and sound is better than the American made ones. I'm curious about the Hofners and how they sound compared to the originals.

This month's Guitar Player magazine has a little article on how George Harrison and George Martin played the song's solo at 1/2 speed and an octave lower, then mixed it at 2x speed to master.
