Did anyone check out the "Cavern Beatles" John's solo "Baby It's You"??? That is absolutely unbelievable. That's got to be, hands down, the best John since John.....

And the Fab Four Paul is astonishing....

Yeah, the footage cries out for some digital restoration...it's actually quite touching to see the look on John's face when he says "...would you be surprised by your brother, since 15..." that whole bit....

I know we've all said it a million times....what a bloody awful awful loss....

I always heard he did a lot of clean up on the backing vocals, which, if you listen to pretty much any other show taped on that tour, seems reasonably true.

I agree Abbey Road is a genuine contender for their greatest. Very hard to discount Revolver, though. My only wish on AR is for more Lennon. When he appears with a full song (Come Together, 'Heavy'), the results are mind boggling. I know his contribution to the medley is great, but I wish we had ...
