Would have loved to get my hands on a Ruby Red one.

They should really just bring back the 4004 the hiatus is gone on for long enough.

A purple burst finish would be amazing I remover swing pictures of an blue burst that faded into purple that would be a dream.

I’m thinking of buying a mapleglo 4000 and modding/ customising it. New paint job, maybe getting some crushed pearl inlays, old style pickguard put on if it was possible.

Just wanted to try and do something different if there was the capability at home.

Any idea what where the second hand market sits on the 4005XC

Just checking in to see if there’s any interesting Rickenbacker basses on the market in OZ. perhaps a shadow bass or a Azureglo 4001( with checkerboard binding and full crushed pearl inlays )

I Reckon a fully blacked out version with crushed pearl inlays would be amazing hopefully Wilcutt will consider doing a batch of those they seemed to have sold out really quickly must be popular.
