Which brings us right back full circle to George Harrison, who was 'instrumental' in Ringo's best successes - "It Don't Come Easy" and especially 'Photograph", both of which are indelibly stamped with George Harrison's songwriting and playing.

Thanks for the comments! Yeah, it's a stock '78 so it has the cap. My Ric is a '75 with the cap and it works fine in the studio with the Rolands open-back, but like I said, I'm not pushing it.

It's for the treble PU of his 4001 bass. I figured there might be some issues, even though there isn't a whole lot of 'bass' going through it. It may well be a good thing for you. On the other hand, it may not. Thinking back, as a rock/prog rock bassist, the whole Berklee jazz thing drove me up a wall. Some absolutely monster musicians there for sure, incredible technical virtuosos on their instruments, but not a whole lot of listenable ...
