An outstanding pairing!
I use my 5220 with the Rickenbacker lap steel all the time. They seem to stay out of each other’s way on the sonic spectrum

This guitar appears to have high gain pickups rather than toaster tops. Is that unusual for a double bound 360/12?

I had Pyramids on my 360/12 with hi-gain pups. I didn’t like them. I wonder if they sound better with toaster tops, through something really bright like a Vox amp. For my rig and sound, it was not happening.

I’ve seen those on reverb and eBay. They generally go for less $$ than a panda B6, but appear to be the same in all but color and badge.
