Register

I added my 1965 330/6 in the Rickresource register on Feb 7, 2023 and it’s waiting approval.
How long is normal waiting time for this process?

Re: Posting pictures

Hi Andrew Looks like my e-mails or PM’s are not getting through. I sent an e-mail and a PM to the admin (Peter) even included my e- mail address but no response from him. Also sent you one, again no response so I sent myself a test one and that didn’t come through either so I’m beginning to think th...

Re: Posting pictures

Thanks Andrew
I was able to send an e-mail as suggested. Now for the answer which may take a while since there aren’t many admins and they must be real busy.

Re: my records

If I have three entries in “my records” of the Rickenbacker register and two of those were wrong, how do I remove two incorrect ones.

Re: Posting pictures

Hi Andrew
My mistake, I was clicking on the thumbnails and then enlarging those. But now I’ve clicked on the text under large format and the pictures are clear.

Re: Posting pictures

Hi Andrew
I am looking at the large format but find it to be fuzzy as I try to increase the picture in size.
Maybe that is the way the system is.
Thanks for your help.

Posting pictures

During the process of registering my 1965 330 Ric I uploaded 10 high resolution pictures and yet the the pictures in the register look fuzzy when you zoom in. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong?

Re: An interesting 330 - what's up with the sticker on the head?

This has been a real interesting read regarding serial plates vs serial stickers on the 1965 330 models. There is a lot of knowledge in this forum and a lot has been gained by me just following the threads the experts have provided. As mentioned in my 2015 Sept post, mine is a1965 330/6 Fireglo that...

Re: An interesting 330 - what's up with the sticker on the head?

Maxwell Can’t I just post my comments directly as I’m doing right now in response to your message? As for putting people down for owning a Rickenbacker, well, I would never do that since I love my 65 330. It has been with me ever since I got it new in 1966. I also love my 92 American Standard Tele b...

Re: An interesting 330 - what's up with the sticker on the head?

Thank you very much for your help. Obviously I don’t really know my way around the system. By replying to the last person’s post in the forum and pressing submit I thought that is the way the system works. Going to quick links and posting there I thought was only for new topics.

Yes, of course I hit submit. The message was displayed in my sent box and yet when I logged out and logged back a little while later the message was no longer there.
Strange, I hope I wasn’t being censored for expressing my honest opinions in a polite manner.
I hope John Simmons can respond.

Hi John
I posted some further thoughts around 6:00 pm on Feb 2, 2023 and it too has got lost for some reason. That is my second post that’s not made it to the forum. I hope I haven’t upset anybody there.

Re: 1965 Model 330 MG corrected Info and PHOTOS

I would like to clarify the comments made regarding the 1965 serial numbers being on the back of the head and covered by lacquer. In 1964 the demand for the Rick was very high and because there was such a low production rate, the waiting time was about one year. Mine was shipped in 1965 to Long and ...
