I have the AD120VT Combo. I recently had an issue with it cutting on me in the middle of a song, but it looks like I can keep that from happening by keeping the phones and effect loop jacks in the back of the amp nice and clean. Apparently, those jacks can get some oxidation in them, and fool the ...

Thanks everyone! Looks like just cleaning out the phones and effects jacks in the back of the amp did the trick. It hasn't cut out on me since I've been doing that.

Thanks for all the tips!!

I'll definitely check and clean all the jacks. Do they sell cleaner specifically for cleaning audio jacks like that??

Thanks for all the advice so far everyone!!

I've never really done much stuff with fixing amps or anything, so would that be something I could...

1. See easily if I opened up the amp?
2. Fix it myself?

I just hate to take it in to the shop for something simple, that I, or a friend with better skills, could fix up ourselves.

Thanks ...

Vox AD120VT Owners??

Hey all... wasn't sure where to post this.

I was wondering if anyone else has a Vox Valvetronix AD120VT combo. I ask because I have had mine for a couple of years now, but recently I've been having a problem with it. I wanted to see if anyone else has had the same type of problem.

Here's the ...

BUTCH WALKER

The amazingly talented Butch Walker can be added to the list of Ric users! For those who don't know of Butch, he fronted the Marvelous 3 in the mid to late 90s, and is now a solo artist. He is also one of the most saught after producers in the business.

His new CD, Letters is fantastic, and his ...

HA HA HA! That's Awesome! Glad you dug the pics, and that they influenced you to go with MB for your 660/12! That's gonna be a SWEET guitar! I thought about getting my 620 in JG as well, but once I saw the MB, there was no turning back! Can't wait to see some pics!

I'll tell you what... the finish on that guitar is unbelievable! It's like a work of art! Personally, I think the Montezuma Brown is the coolest of the RIC ...

My New 620MB

Hey all! I posted months ago about trying to track down a 620 in Montezuma Brown. Well, I ended up reserving the one that The Music Zoo had on order already. I'm happy to say that it's finally here!!! I've only had it for 2 days, but it sounded GREAT at band practice tonight! I'll probably have to ...

I've seen 1964 play, and I've met them. They told me they used to use all vintage VOX amps and stuff, but it was costing way too much to take them on planes and stuff with them, so they switched to the Tonelabs to save on freight weight costs. They still have amazing tones that match the Beatles ...

Bob, I ran into the same thing when I went to buy a 620 in Montezuma Brown from Ed. Because they actually had it in stock he wanted to charge me MORE! They said, "Well we have it in stock. You could have in a few days rather than waiting a few months." I said, "Yeah, and you could sell it right now ...

Rickenbacker Acoustics

Hey all...

I have to say, I've seen the pictures of the Rickenbacker acoustic guitars in the catalog and stuff, but I have NEVER seen one in real life! I've never seen one for sale in a guitar store, or even on eBay! Do they really exist? heh heh!

Seriously, though, does anyone have one? I'd ...

My fave Zombies tune is "Care of Cell 44." Back in '96 I saw Fountains of Wayne cover it live, and it was awesome! Great stuff!
