Re: Sitting and playing a 650
I just ordered a much more adjustable strap. Will pay attention to my position. My Casino and acoustics are much lighter, may be a learning process. And I found out the warranty card was not sent in, just folded.

Sitting and playing a 650
The 650 came, it is mint but the warranty was sent in so only MF warranty. My question has to do with sitting and playing, I do not stand and play. The treble horn digs into my leg, I am thinking a short strap may help, I need to get one. The neck is great both in width at the but and girth, I do ...

Opening case after shipping guitar in cold weather
I have always bought guitars with Nitro finishes. These I would not open the case after delivery for 12-24 hours. My 650 arrived this morning after being in a tick Durocher very cold weather. What is the rule of thumb regarding opening the case? Thanks.

650 color
I have located a couple of 650, new, made in 2012, so 1 year warranty left. Prices are close on each. 1 mapleglo, 1 Ruby and 1 midnight blue. I would think the maple would wear better (nicks and scratches) but I am pretty easy on my things. The blu looks interesting.

Re: 650 neck change thickness question.
I play a Martin with a low profile neck, this is not as low profile as Larrivee or Taylor but it is a nice, for me, profile. The Martin Modified V caused hand issues and I had to sell a guitar I really loved due to that. I cannot imagine that the 650 will be any wider than the Martin and it is a 1 3 ...

Re: 650 neck change thickness question.
Thanks, that is great information. I think '93 was the first or second year so it would be the thinner neck. I hsve a feeling either will be ok. Thanks again.

650 neck change thickness question.
Hello all. Can anyone shed light when Rickenbacker make the neck on the 650 chunkier and made the heel thicker? Thanks. It us very hard to find one tplat, not sure how chunky chunky is. I play a Martin with a low profile neck and 1 3/4 nut as well as a Larrivee parlor, also a slim necl with the ...
