Thanks for the warm welcome! To answer your question, J gary, I prefer the 4001 since it has a thinner neck than the 4003. I also have thing for vintage gear. My Danelectro and Mustang are both reissues, so I was really wanting an older Rickenbacker. My 4001 isn't museum quality, but it's a great ...
