Wow! That's very nice. Well done.

Re: 360v64 fireglo
Hi Mark, From what I can see the 360 V64 was only manufactured between 1991 & 2000, it was replaced by the C63 model. Unless it's NOS it'll probably by a C63. Other differences are discussed here - https://www.rickresource.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=397975. You can run the serial number through t...

Re: 360v64 fireglo
Hi Mark,
Depending on overall condition that looks like it's in the mid-to-high range on the Register pricelist data. That's assuming you're in the US.
https://www.rickresource.com/register/pricelist.php.
It's not an unfair price on face value.

Re: Is it happening? A new 4005?!
Hi Folks, At this stage nothing new on when they're available. I was told they expect they'll be released in summer (northern hemisphere), which is anywhere from next week to the end of August. I'm sure I'll hear from my dealer as soon as they land, so I can pay the balance owing. I had some downtim...

Re: Carla Olson posted on facebook looking for her Stolen 620...
Well spotted, Brian. The first time I heard of Carla Olsen was a short profile in Guitar Player June '85, and although the pic is B&W it's that 620 she's playing in the article. I just pulled the mag from my shelf to remind myself. The June '85 edition has the RIckenbacker History Pt2 by Richard...

Re: Is it happening? A new 4005?!
I was quoted US$4,699 from Wildwood, including freight. I'll be up for local taxes & duties on delivery to OZ on top of that. Despite that I hit the button to order mine.

Re: So the 381v69 is discontinued
Yeah, the 381V69 (both 6 & 12), the 350V63/12 and the 620/12 are now 'Legacy' guitars on the RIC website. To my mind the 1993/12 Plus has taken over from the 381V69, and the 660/12 from the 620/12, although their price brackets were a bit different. I suppose they need to drop some things to all...

Re: Rickenbacker.com has been offline recently
The 620/12 is under the Legacy page - https://www.rickenbacker.com/series/legacy/ "These models are no longer part of our current catalog, though remain a part of Rickenbacker’s enduring legacy!" It's a sort of 'Salon des Refusés' for past RIC models. Apart from that, I'd not heard anythin...

Re: Rickenbacker.com has been offline recently
It is good to see the site back, and looking good. However, I was surprised that the 620/12 has been dropped from production. Had that happened earlier, and I'd just missed the memo? On a positive note, the pics on the site for the 4005V show they're using the checkerboard binding on the back. Yummo...

According to a dealer that I contacted, they'll be released in the US summer. Probably @ US$5K.

Re: Is it happening? A new 4005?!
Hi Folks,
Any suggestions for Dealers that'd take an order from, and ship to Australia? I'm not sure if I can afford it, but if I don't ask I'll never know.

Re: Rick-o-sound output brighter than standard?
Years ago, when I gigged for a short period, I had an Acoustic 320 which had 2 channels (A or B, or A&B) each with their own tone stack. I figure that'd be suited to Rick-O-Sound. Alas I didn't have a Rick then, and now I don't have the amp. Maybe it'll turn up someday.

Re: 360/6 & 360/12 in walnut
I grabbed a '98 650C late last year, which is a great player. It's definately in need of a clean, oli, and polish. Your post remnds me I need to put this on my list of things to do. That and new strings. Some of the Walnut guitars & basses look absolutely gorgeous. Congratulations on your purcha...

Re: New banjoline video
Well done, Jason! Sounds great.
I had idea of what the Banjoline sounded like, and now I do. The Ballad of Easy Rider seems to me to be a great fit for this instrument.
Cheers,
