I have a 2010 Carvin BB70 that sounds incredible through an amp, unplugged, its as dead as a stone. Great bass plugged in, but unplugged, it almost feels awkward.

For what its worth, I have a Classic Amplification, "Classic Rick" button top bridge pickup in my 4003S. I love it.

I offered my 2 cents, and things started to get a little rough. I was just pointing out the same thing that Dirk mentioned here. That's the problem with that forum, some folks don't like a difference in opinion.

I'd like to try one, but I've read a few complaints about not being able to get the action as low as a stock bridge. Unfortunate, because I like a real low action.
