California Vintage in Van Nuys has (or had) a 1964 360 New Style with a BOUND F Hole. Maybe a Rose Morris prototype? Maybe RM did not like the rounded body either.

First Ric I ever owned was a ’67 360/12. Bought it at the House of Guitars during a family visit to Rochester, NY, in the summer of ’88. Paid $1,000.00 for it, which was all the money in the world for 16yo me then.

A 620 is much more modern guitar... based on your stated expectations, it sounds this is more suited to your needs.

But in defense of the 325, a C64 is doing everything it can to pretend it is 1964. Stuff has changed since then... as Joni sang ...
