Re: Just saw Runnin' Down A Dream DVD
Fantastic 4 hours of a great band. Just saw it yesterday on Netflix. Learned a lot, and could relate to soooo many of those stories and situations.

Re: Scalloped Fretboards
Feels like playing a cheesegrater. Prepare for every note to be slightly out of tune unless you have lightest of touches. Forget playing chords as well. Good luck if you ever need a refret. Resale limited to the G-3 teenage shredder market. But hey, that's just my opinion, and experience playing a f...

Re: New and used dealers, LA area
Sunset strip for guitar shops has dwindled to almost nil, except for Sam Ash and GC. Hands down, the best place to get a killer deal on new Rickenbackers is Graysons Tune Town in Montrose. Mom and Pop shop that already has lower tagged prices-usually $100-than anybody, and makes betterdeals when you...

Good luck trying to find short pole toasters to make this a simple, 10 minute mod.

Re: AMPEG GVT 52-112
there are plenty of internet posts about the amp getting "those Stones, Faces, Black Crowes tones", so I would say if you had the right fuzz box and guitar with all the volume and tone controls set just right, it could happen. I haven't had the chance to really put this amp through the pac...

AMPEG GVT 52-112
Holy cow this amp sounds great with my 330 with toasters. The clean channel and reverb have a very full and rich tone to them. The series has been discontinued, so they are being blown out dirt cheap. Just got mine for under $400 at Sam Ash. 2 6l6s, 3 12ax7s, 2 channels, spring reverb, footswitchabl...

Re: SHOW US YOUR PEDALBOARDS!
Those old Ibanez units are nice, a buddy of mine has gigged steadily with his since it was new.( Yeah, he's that old )
Multieffects units are so hit and miss, some things sound good and other things are unusable, like Phase Shifters that sound like a compressed flat tire

Nice build!
Great sounding pedal that doesn't sound like a pedal.
