Re: Vox AC15C1 creamback
the amp is made in China now to Vox specs....I'm not quite sure if the speaker magnets are ceramic or alnico but they sound fantastic! I would consider replacing the 2 12" speakers in my AC30VR but the cost wouldn't warrant it as it would be almost what I paid for the whole amp... The amp is lo...

Vox AC15C1 creamback
I just picked up a Vox AC15C1 limited white bronco (creamback speaker) as blemished but brand new with full warranty ( I couldn't find any blemish on it... :) ) All I can say is WOW!....this is the best amp that I've ever played on. Side by side with my AC30VR you can hear the difference. The AC15 j...

Re: 1991 330-12 - neck or bridge swap to Toaster?
thanks for the input everyone....at this point I'm going to leave it as it. I was curious about the Toaster hype but honestly, with my Keeley Compressor pedal and AC30VR it really sounds pretty good to me as is. I will put future funds into the purchase of a 350V63 with Toasters already installed. I...

Re: Fender Mustang GT200 Amp
Ok, so I found a deal on an AC30VR that I couldn't pass up. It a hybrid amp and it has a tube or valve as some call it in the pre-amp section I think. The amp is in like new condition and I picked it up for $400 USD shipped...came with a foot pedal, and really nice HD guitar cord that the owner thre...

Re: Show Us Your Amplifier/s!
my present amp is actually my son's little Crate Amp that he's not using anymore. It sounds pretty decent for use in the house. I sold an Ampeg Gemini II and an Ampeg Porta-Flex B15-N back in the late 60's...wished I still had them... :( I'm looking for another amp right now but for the time this wo...

Re: Fender Mustang GT200 Amp
thanks for the info Robert....I've turned my attention the Vox amplifiers. Being a die hard Beatles fan it seems only natural for me...
Doing my research now into both new and used / tube and solid state and weighing factors on lots of choices.

Re: Keeley 4 knob compressor pedal
Well the Keeley arrived today and never having a compressor before, I plugged it in backwards and didn't think it was working so I immediately called Keeley and got Robert Keeley on the phone. He educated me and I corrected my mistake by reversing the plugs.... He also suggested the knob sett...

I'm just doing research now on different amps...not ready to buy yet as I have a small Crate Amp that works for me right now.

Re: Keeley 4 knob compressor pedal
thanks...good to know. I'm more of a purist and not big into effects of any sort...just thought that with a 12 string a basic compressor might be a good idea to get a cleaner sound. BTW, I still have the original Wah-Wah pedal that I purchased back in the 60's...never sold it and I'm looking forward...

Keeley 4 knob compressor pedal
Hi all, I"m just getting back into playing again after many, many years.....sold a Hagstrom II that I purchased new in 1967 and just purchased a 1991 330 12-string JetGlo which was one of my dream guitars back in the day but I couldn't dream of actually affording one back then. The question I ha...
