Re: Long Tall Sally
Fantastic, Francesco. This is one of my favorite Beatles tracks. To me it is just as impressive as Twist and Shout. Like the latter, Long Tall Sally is a one-take recording. Incredible, considering McCartney gives one of his most searing vocals, and plays that bass line, to boot. My third favorite o...

Re: New McCartney Album?
I liked some of the songs on Memory Almost Full, but I have never (and I really mean never) heard such an awful mixing/mastering job. I agree 110% Great album, but the worst mastering ever. Like all levels were too high. I bought a 2nd one thinking it may have been the disc. How this could have mad...

Re: 'Lost' Photos of the Beatles - 1963
The one of George looking at the camera is one of the best I've seen of the Beatles in concert. It is such a unique angle and to catch George looking at the camera is phenomenal. Heck, even the first one of them on stage in this set is fantastic.

Wow, that looks fantastic, and it is great that they are doing this. Wonderful from an archival standpoint. Hopefully Many others follow suit, including McCartney, Starr & Yoko

Re: Groovy Beatles pictures
He likely just flipped it inside out while he was putting the guitar around his neck. That is the simplest explanation I can come up with. We've all done it.

How about Because & Sun King, both bass. This should complete the bass tracks for Abbey Road. Thank you!

Re: ANY (ROCK BAND) BEATLES SONG. ISOLATED TRACKS!
Many thanks, Richard, for the newest tracks. They are phenomenal, as well. The vocals are just incredible. On Oh! Darling , I never realized McCartney said "I nearly fell down and died" at the second portion of the bridge. I always though it was "broke" down on those verses. Come...

Re: ANY (ROCK BAND) BEATLES SONG. ISOLATED TRACKS!
Incredible, and many thanks for the updates. Dig a Pony is another great bass line that comes alive. Little string bending going on....the subtleties of McCartney's bass playing come alive in these iso tracks. How about: Back in the USSR, drums The End, bass & drums Golden Slumbers, bass. Many t...

Re: ANY (ROCK BAND) BEATLES SONG. ISOLATED TRACKS!
Thanks again, Richard.
I Me Mine is just fantastic. So many embellishments that you don't pick up.
How about drums on Dear Prudence. I always loved where McCartney sort of goes all out starting around 2:56.
