I have noticed that if I crank too much gain on the JB, my 330-12 will feedback, which I don't want. I do this to try and gain the most "McGuinn" tone I can. I'd say the optimum setting for me is 1:00-2:00 on both controls.

I saw The Jam on their first US tour when they played somewhere in NYC. It might have been the Beacon Theatre. I liked them, but they didn't blow me away. They had lots of high energy, that's for sure. Weller played Ricks, of course. They played tracks from the first two albums.

I think she sounds like a twit. She can't even pronounce the name of the guitar the same way twice. Then, she smashed her two favorite Ricks into multiple pieces? Sorry, there's no place in my musical existence for her or her band.
