So...even without a pic, it's easy to imagine.
The saddles are in the rear 1/3 of their adjustable travel, naturally putting more stress on the rear screws.
If I set the bridge level, it's clear that the rear screws have more tension; when I equalize the tension, the bridge slants slightly to the ...

Re: Setting 335 bridge

Setting 335 bridge
When I set the height on the bridge of my 335, I feel like I want even tension on all 4 screws so there is maximum contact and stability.
In order to do this, the bridge ends out being tilted quite towards the tail.
I'm new to Ricks, so the response to this may be "Duh...that's just how it's done ...

If you check the DCR of a pickup at the output jack, does it read 0?

Re: .0047 Capacitor in 620
I'm new to Ricks, but old to guitars.
I know they're...different...but this is the 2nd thread I've seen here about caps where there is one more zero than I'm used to seeing.
I've soldered in many .047uf and .022uf caps, but never a .0047 or .0022.
Do Ricks really like these values?

Re: 335 neck relief/truss rod
Thanks, Jason.
I don't think 10's would make any diff, as only the 1st 3 strings are like a 9 set; the low strings are 26,36,46.
Maybe I'll try 11s and see.
Maybe I just have to leave them on for awhile an a nice hot closet.
How do I post pics here?
Do I need a hosting site?

335 neck relief/truss rod
Heya...Rickenbacker newbie here...
I recently took a '67 335 in trade for a '69 Gibson ES330 (I gained 5!) and the whole truss rod thing on these guitars scares me a bit!
I did the most hair-raising refret ever because I can't even straighten the neck with strings on...not to mention with them off ...
