looking for a specific photo of the Beatles...
I was thumbing through a book entitled Harrison yesterday and saw a great photo of the band during the White Album sessions (I think!).
George was in the fore, looking like the coolest guy in the world. Lennon was in a vest only and Paul was shirtless. Ringo was Ringo.
Anyone know the photo of ...

That's fun! Always LOVED the guitars on the first two sections of BOTR.

Great clip! Took me a hot minute to suss that this was the same Lorrie Collins who previously got around as a brunette in western gear.

Gorgeous white Ric bass seen behind ...Ozzy?
Interesting clip of the blurry Osbourne listening to a long-uneard Randy Rhoads solo take. White Ric bass comes into view. Nice Vox head too...

Re: 330: any reason why it wouldn't be a good first electric?
Have you been playing acoustic guitar for a long time?
If so, the Ric is a PERFECT choice for electric. You'll have an eye-catching guitar that responds in a way you're used to with your acoustics but can chime, cry, and grind in virtually any shade of electric tone you want.

Re: HELP!!!! Need help with an unusual song
Nice! That's a good start. My kids are accomplished sight-readers, but I'm an ear player ...hopefully someone can jot these chords for me!
Then, I can transpose it.
Much appreciated.

HELP!!!! Need help with an unusual song
Been asked (short notice) to back a baritone singer at a Broadway-style revue. The song is 'To Each His Dulcinea' from 'The Man of La Mancha'. I cannot find sheet music or chord charts for it anywhere. I have 2 weeks to get it down. ...and I'll probably have to transpose it to the key of C (though ...

Re: Your Own Band?
That's a BIG question.
I'll settle for a guitar, mostly backing vox role in my dreamt-up combo:
bass: Chris White or Macca
drums: Rob Hirst
guitar: David Gavurin
guitar: me
vox: Karen Bergquist *or* Chris Isaak
......I could think of some other ace combos, but this one would be great
Maybe Neil ...

Re: Hey, I remember this place...
Thanks guys. The FB issue is about dealing with an honest-to-goodness real life lunatic (the sort which involves police reports, subpoenaed mental/med records, death threats, plot twists which seem unbelievable, and this particular guitarist keeping a loaded weapon nearby). We're hopeful for a happy ...
