It's hard to believe this is really going to happen. After so many years of 'no way, no how' I guess I'll have to see orders being taken to really believe it. With that being said, I'm delighted to see the factory being creative and trying things out. I think I'm going to be in line for one as well.

If my math is right, the ask is around $8,000 US on this. I wonder what the magic number is that will force another look at the viabilty of this instrument in the current market? Or, perhaps a better strategy is realize the esteemed Mr. Hall's worst nightmare: We pitch in and buy Paul McCartney that...

For the record, I've had an '82 Rick 8string since December, and I really am impressed with it's versitility. The first thing I did was drop the $60 or whatever it is on Rick strings--what an improvement... The feel and and action improved at least 60%. I would *highly* recommend making this investm...
