Gary Brawer and Ryan Lanthier in Berkeley (Ryan works for Gary).
Though tbh I would consider 70s specs to be a downgrade from the current high gain. They were around 8-9K IIRC, compared to today's ~11K.

Re: '64' RM199 rebuild continued, detective work.... (seeking 64 jack plate).
This is a follow-up on my post from 2019, below; I dismantled and rebuilt what turned out to be (probably) a 64 RM1999. https://www.rickresource.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=415905 I've toured, recorded it and loved it, since my rebuild. 1E7A9619-5F6E-4BF0-AA84-8A0EB3A01B26.JPG IMG_6937.JPG IMG_4606.J...

Re: 330 Hi Gain Pickup Construction?
Can anyone help – I am trying to understand how the hi gain pickups on my 2011 330 are constructed? I cannot find any decent diagrams online so hence asking here. I can find that the old toaster design seems to have 6 pole piece magnets that go through the bobbin… how about the Hi Gains? I can see ...

Re: Wish List - Rickenbacker bass Offerings and Features
A faster way to deploy the mute would be nice. Agreed, I’d like it if were spring loaded, so you just pull on one of the buttons and it pops up with the option to fine tune the final height to get the right amount of muting depending on your action/preference etc. Once set you could just flick it o...

Part of that is the pound has a much less favorable exchange rate to the dollar than it used to.

Re: Roto Bass Strings
I'd be curious because it looks like they do come in my preferred gauge at least for E standard.
But I'm slow to change anything. I don't change my strings often enough as it is, plus going to a different brand can be a pain because the tension and intonation might be a bit different.
