There are actually a couple more from the same roll. If I can find them, I'll post.

Those are not John's guitars. They are props for the video shoot. Notice the headstock on the maple 325. Not even close to the real V81. The black 325 doesn't look right to me either.

Where are The Beatles Vox amps?

I know how much we all obsess about the guitars, but does anyone have a clue as to what happened to the third-generation AC30s, the AC50s and the AC100s that were used from 1963-1966. I know the original fawn AC30s were recovered in black, and later (1963) swapped for new production-line black ones ...

There were four Ludwig Black Pearl kits, and the Ludwig Hollywood "Let It Be" kit. Ringo still owns all of them. However, only the tom and snare of the very first Ludwig kit remain. The Premier kit that was reported to be the one Ringo played when he joined the Beatles sold at auction years ago.

Problem is, "they" don't have the gold PG anymore. It was given by Lennon to Ron DeMarino as a gift after he refinished it back to natural. DeMarino reportedly says he put a new (the original was cracked) gold one on, but apparently Lennon last played it with the white PG. Thus the reluctance by ...

Also, George's second Rickenbacker 12 was stolen, as was Paul's first Hofner bass.

While he probably played mostly acoustic during the Double Fantasy and later (Milk & Honey) sessions, there are some tracks where it would have been likely for him to have played electric. Tracks like Cleanup Time, I'm Losing You, Nobody Told Me, I Don't Wanna Face It. In fact, on outtakes of I Don ...

Remember the scene in A Hard Day's Night where George gets pulled into a room and asked to comment on current fashion trends? Notice the shirt he trashed. Looks exactly like the collarless ones that the DC5 always wore on stage. Always thought that was a funny send-up of the DC5.

I believe that the current J-160E has gone back to using an actual P-90, not the P-100 stacked humbucker.

The person presenting the guitar to George was not the owner of B-Sharp Music. He managed the store as I recall. Me and my friends went there on a regular basis throughout the 60s and 70s. The owner was Jim Lopez, who I believe is standing behind George and next to Brian in the original photo.

The songs have been completely remixed and remastered by George Martin from the original tapes for use as music for the Cirque du Soleil performances in Las Vegas. The DVD is DVD-Audio 5.1 and PCM Stereo mixes of that music. It will also be released as a CD. No video content.

As for the original ...
