He's going to try and match the FG's from my '64 360S/12 and other '64 365 prototype... :D In other words, nice dark FG with wide coverage.

I sent Larry Davis a wrecked '64 365 FG New Style for a restoration. As you can tell by the "before" pic, it was in awful shape. Body couldn't be saved so…he made a new one! The back was modded by a previous owner with a Tele style string thru. Needless to say, the back warped. More pics o...

Super nice resto on that guitar. It would look even better with period correct, sharper cornered top guard. :D

Just wondering why the jackplate was removed. And TRC. Soundhole is different too. Just wondering.... The soundhole measures out the same as the other. As to why the TRC and jackplate were removed, who knows? These early '58 Capris with the butcher block bodies and long soundholes are too cool.
