Hello

I believe these are copies of some scans I made from a Beatles Monthly a couple of years ago and posted on another site. They are indeed images of the Paperback Writer session.

The pedal is not a Project 5 but in fact a WEM Rush Pep.

Cheers, Ben

Hi

I have had the same problem, but not with just one string. Every E string I've ever put on my Hofner bass sounded dead. Always Pyramid flats, always dead sounding. I got them from various sources too, so it shouldn't be due to a bad batch.

Eventually I borrowed a micrometer and measured the ...

Hi

I have a C64 and my friend has a V63. I often have them in the same room together and I recently weighed them on my bathroom scales. I can't remember the exact weights but I can tell you the weight difference is negligible.

Hi

I can't quite tell from your photo, but I think I may of had the same problem:

Last time I changed the strings on my 325 the bigsby arm ended up sitting much higher than it normally does. When I looked closely I realised that the spring was not seated properly... the end of the spring was ...

Thanks guys

A lot of comparisons have been made between the C64 and the V63. I was just suprised that no one had mentioned this difference before.

My strings are wound onto the capstan correctly, i.e. from the inside rather than the outside. This gives the most direct string routing from the ...

C64 4001 Machine Heads

Hello

I just got a brand new Fireglo 4001 C64 Bass guitar.

I noticed a peculiarity with the way that the tuning keys operate...

On my V63 (and all my other guitars for that matter!) you rotate the machine heads for the E & A strings clockwise to decrease the pitch. On the C64 this increases ...
