I have owned two V63's and a C64S in the past and am quite happy with my MG 4003 with toaster on it now (my only Rick). Both my V63's were Fireglo and the finish was outstanding. Yeah, after 25 years I sold my 72 in the 90's, regretted it but am loving my new 4003. Probably wouldn't have sold it if I'd known about that stupid cap that I could've removed though.

My former '04 JG Laredo (now Mark G's) has a finished board. It was also 4 strings when I had it, and Mark has added a 5th string!

Mark, that is a beautiful bass and reminds me very much of a 4 string Laredo I had with chrome surrounds that I sold to a nice guy in Florida.
