thanks for all replys, i decided to hold off on the 330 until i can pick one up & play it.
Hey ken, excellent choices!, a 660/12 & a 650D, i expect to get my dakota soon, that might help to calm the gas i've got for the 330, i'll resist and not buy anything at this time.

Also, does the 330 give a bit more string spacing than the 360 considering there is no binding on the 360?

I'm concerned about the string spacing of the 330. I'm thinking of picking up one of the bargain 330's from Musicians Friend for rhythm-playing/strumming; the price is great but am concerned the width might not be wide enough for me.

I play bass, have a couple 4003's but also record so have a bunch ...

What is the upcharge from the Standard to the Vintage Reissue Case when you purchase a new instrument?

The new 4/05 pricelist has the listprice on the molded case as $249 + the VReissue case as $279 list pricing; $30 different at list pricing to buy the case ...
