I have both a 360-6 w/ high gains and a cw-6. While the cw may overall have a bigger sixties vibe, i really think it has more to do with the thinness of the top than the p/ups. I have two rics with toasters and two with high gains. I really like them both and do not think that the hi gains are that ...

I live in Chartres, about 100 km from Paris due south, but, until the day before yesterday, worked the last eight years in Paris. I'm moving on, and start a new gig in London on July 1.

Along with Elvis, DJ Fontana and Scotty, the show's producer, Steve Binder, added some of the pals : Lance Legault (E's stunt double), Charlie Hodge (the army buddy, but could sing and played with the group on accoustic, along with holding water & towels until EP's death), and Alan Fortas who ...

i live in France and have bought one ric 360 here. The pigalle area has one or two good shops, but in comparison to the US, buying a guitar here is expensive and not an enjoyable experience. There are few rics and they are list at double us prices. occassionally nice stuff comes up, but, it is few ...

Its lighter and the top is thinner which makes the sound more alive/accoustic. Its also has toasters and my 360/6 MG is stock with higains. The p/ups are placed differently in relation to where the neck and the body meet. I love 'em both

Elvis totally could play rhythm guitar. He was all over the sun sessions. He even did some fender bass work either just before or after his army stint when bill black refused to do so. He also played limited parts of the '69 vegas shows (j 200 & country gent). In the dvd, elvis, that's the way it is ...

at the frankfurt musikmesse the gibson über-booth had one that Macca used, but, I don't know if they actually displayed the original. For $40K, i'd rather buy 25 rics !!!

Mike Smith at RicsRus is IMHO the best UK/European source for NOS & mint ric guitars. He has excellent selection, is an honest business man and has a handle on the challenges of getting rics in Europe.

My first ric was my wife and friends thirtieth birthday present for me in '98 (a '96 360 MG bought in France). Since I have bought four more and have one on hold. For a while, I flirted between gretsches & rics, but, in the end, I concentrate on rics.
