Clearing out more guitars ...and bought a 360/12 JetGlo
After playing a guys 360/12 that was absolutely effortless to play I sold yet a few more guitars and found a 2010 360/12. Really excellent shape. I'll be diving into some serious set up work first and putting on a set of toaster tops I got from Chicago Music Exchange (seemed to be the only game in t...

Re: Why No 360/12 Wide neck - like the 1993/Plus
Set up... Set up... Set up Well it appears to me after playing a "well set up" 360/12 that set up is everything. They actually play quite well provided it has been set up properly. I played one that was almost effortless to play. Incidentally the 660/12 I just bought was a tough player as ...

Re: Vintage style Rickenbacker 12 string tuners - Question?
I talked to Chris at "Pick Of The Ricks"
and he said the "Modern" Vintage use 2 different sets
00564 and 00565
One of the sets having a little longer post than the other.
The actual Vintage models used 2 of the same set.

Re: Why NO RIC Parts???? everything seems to be backordered
These long posts tuners seem to be a Rickenbacker exclusive from my research thus far.
Feel sorry for someone who desperately needs one for a repair or restoration.
If anyone has any info on these I'm all ears.

Why NO RIC Parts???? everything seems to be backordered
So what's up with Rickenbacker parts? Seems so many of the parts are back ordered. newer One thing I'm looking for is a set of vintage style tuners for a 12 string and seems everyone is out. And I need a set of 6 long post if I use Kluson or other vintage style...yeah good luck with that too. After ...

Vintage style Rickenbacker 12 string tuners - Question?
This may sound like stupid question but are the vintage style tuners on a Ric
2 sets of 6 of the same vintage type set?
Or are they unique in some way?
Thanks for a reply and info

Accent Vibrato - Y/N - Winfield
Looking at the issues that can plague the Accent Vibrato on some Rics - seems Winfield has done his homework and remedied some problems with the unit. Thinking of getting a six string Ric and was considering an Accent unit to keep it looking vintage. Anyone using one of these units on their Ric? Any...

Re: Why No 360/12 Wide neck - like the 1993/Plus
Yeah I get it. It is hard to complain when the numbers keep selling the traditional 12.
I should give the 360 12 another try for a few weeks and see how things go....

Signal Chain placement of Compressor
So I got a 12 string Ric coming and want to explore using a compressor. I stopped using compressors quite a while ago but with my new interest in adding some 12 string to the band I figure I better check into the whole Compressor idea again. Does it matter if I run it just after the guitar and befor...

Re: 660/12 ????
Well I just found this one and bought it.
Hopefully I'll have it next week. Couldn't find any 660/12's locally.

660/12 ????
I've been hoping the 360 12 (Jet Glo) would eventually get the wider nut width - still no luck after many years of hoping. I really want to give the 660/12 a try, in Jet Glo - preferably  The size looks really comfortable to play. What strings are you using on yours? Flats on rounds? Light ...

What's up with the Ric Vibrato?
I've been looking at a lot of Rickenbackers lately and I noticed that the Ric Vibrato is not that common.
Especially on the 360 model. I have seen the beautiful 67' natural 365 posted in another thread.
Do these work OK?
If used gently - do they hold their tuning?
Thanks for any info.

Re: Why No 360/12 Wide neck - like the 1993/Plus
I was considering a 660 but wanted to go with the hollow body.
I still may end up getting a 660 if it is the only other choice in a wider nut for a 12 string.
