Re: Rickenbacker 12 String and Eric Clapton
From a Julien's auction listing: A Rickenbacker 360 12-string Fireglo used in the studio by the Edge, Eric Clapton, and Morrissey. The electric guitar was part of a studio equipment hire for a U2 recording session that was ordered by Sam O’Sullivan (U2 studio manager, drum tech) on November 28, 2001...

Re: Spam from Users Here
Update: I received no reply to my emails to Gil, so I have no idea if he every received them, but on the bright side, the spam emails have stopped. Here is a diy option if would like to look behind the curtain. Get Headers Instructions Analyzer Generally you will find tons of hay with a possible ne...

Re: Spam from Users Here
J send the header of that email to Gil. Having multiple copies really helps the forensics(follow his instructions on the other thread).
The return addresses are always wrong they just want you to react to the name.

Re: Spam from Users Here
It's not that it doesn't have anything to do with rrf. My point was the problem wasn't coming directly from an rrf hack therefore there is nothing rrf can do. The logic being if it was an rrf attack we all would be seeing the same amount of spam. Additionally Gil would have known we were hacked. Yes...

Sorry. Just trying to help.

Re: Spam from Users Here
I just got another one. This one is "from" Kevin Kuney. He's not in my email list. It can only be coming from here. Unlikely, if an rrf list was compromised we all would be getting emails from all of us. Contact lists are a better source for these guys because it shows previous communicat...

Re: Spam from Users Here
If the return addresses are incorrect (johnsmith@yahoo.com shows as jssdf098345@blyod34.com) then one of two things has happened. 1) Your contact list was comprised/acquired, and the list is being used to fish against you. 2) Someone else's contact list was comprised/acquired, and the list is being ...

Re: Very nice early '68 4001 at Willie's Guitars
First and foremost, it’s important to know that the material of the nut only influences the tone of the open strings directly. Indirectly, the nut also influences the overall tone of a guitar because the nut transfers the vibrations of the strings to the neck, so the material and density are crucia...
