Model B for sale

1936 Rickenbacher Model B for sale. Nice clean example. Pot has been changed( original comes in case). One tuning machine has also been changed a fair while back I would suggest, its a grover and the plate is slightly different to the rest.....they all work nicely. Old case is long gone so I had a ...

Re: Model B on ebay

......I reckon the seller would have thought it was orgasmic! He got some pretty good dollars for that particular guitar....without a case. Oh well,it gave us a topic. Cheers

We have extremely limited sellers over here in Australia which is a little frustrating. Anywyays to follow up on what you said......yes I saw a model B(1936) close to ...

Model B on ebay

Just womdering if anyone has seen the 1935 Rickenbacher Model B lapsteel(listed like that) on ebay. I thought it was a little humourous. The seller has massive wraps for it and states its in "mint" condition. I think the seller thought it was a fry pan. It has star head scews on the name plate, 3 on ...

G'day all. Does anyone have a suggestion for cleaning bakelite, as in polish to bring it back to life. Is there a cut and polish of some sort? Cheers Jase

Re: model B case/ white tone knob

Oh.....not sure how I feel about that. Considering I just paid $350 to get a case made!! Oh well thats the way cookie crumbles. To be honest I gave up on my post and then.......whammo! Looks like a nice case( the goldtone one). I'm actually getting a full flight case made up over here in AUS. Ball ...

model B case/ white tone knob

G'day all. Just wondering if anyone might know of a lonely original Rickenbacher case for a model b lap steel. I got my hand son one but it didn't have a case( I reckon the bakelites do growl more). And also was after a white "flying saucer" type tone control for a silver hawaiian. Cheers Jason

Re: Need new tuning machines...

G'day Richard. Thanks for the tip on the tuning machines. The specs were perfect and the longer posts will be very welcome indeed. I have tried to put some photos of my Silver Hawaiian up, but my attempts have failed. I think I need to compress the files......or something! Also could you please let ...

Need new tuning machines...

The plate is 4 2/4" long, 1 3/8" from centre of post to post, post is 1" long and 6/32" diameter. I got ...
