Re: 330 Neck
I disagree. Sure, you can buff it back to a gloss again. For that matter, you could repaint it. Nevertheless, you're removing the original finish. To me, that's damage. Anyway, like I said, why do that when a little polish will do the job. It takes all of 15 seconds. Here's John Hall, president of ...

Re: 330 Neck
It didn't damage the finish. It can still be buffed back to it's original look...gruffydd3 wrote:Why damage the finish on the neck of your guitar? I use a little Gibson pump polish and problem solved. I reapply it every week or two depending on how much I play the guitar. Any guitar polish will work.

Yup, the green scotch pad really works!! Tried it on my new 620, and the difference is dramatic.

NGD--620
Welp, it looks like I got one of the only Midnight Blue 620s in the USA. After a boatload of research online, it was in my backyard at Truetone in Santa Monica. It’s gorgeous and plays like a dream. I traded it for my Fender Johnny Marr Jaguar and I’m loving its compact feel and amazing craftsmanshi...

Re: It was 40 years ago today...

Being a huge Jam fan (fortunate enough to see the...

A nice piece about Rics, from Carbon/Silicon
http://www.carbonsiliconinc.com/blogs.aspx For those not in the know, Carbon/Silicon is the newest band featuring the redoubtable Mick Jones, from the Clash. "Nuff Said. Go listen to them. The song "The News" is a great starting point. it really made me miss the clash, like, a LOT!!!
