Turn Turn Turn "Short Cover" on Rickenbacker 360-12

Here's a quick one I threw out to You Tube. It's an abbreviated version of the Pete Seeger - Byrds classic "Turn Turn Turn". I used my 2000 model Rickenbacker 360-12 with Vintage Toasters running into a Fender Hot Rod Deville 4-10. -BC

Re: 2008 Rickenbacker Family Photos

Hi Paul,

I used Adobe Photoshop on those photos. The compression made them look funny though. If you want to see images that are closer to what they really look like, "guitars link" below.

Re: 360-12 pic

I have summers off! Sounds like a plan to me...LOL I would like to get together with some of the Ric players eventually for a round of fun gigs. I would also like to go out to California to tour the factory eventually...if they allow that sort of thing. -BC

Re: 360-12 pic

Les by the way, I just discovered you site with the finely crafted furniture and discovered we have another thing in common. Your craftsmanship is top notch! There are some very impressive pieces with absolutely beautiful wood and finishes. The location also looks like a post card. I am sure that is...

Re: 360-12 pic

Thanks Les! I am going to have to build a separate building to put all of that stuff in eventually. I'm holding back until my youngest daughter gets through college which she will begin this year. The posters are originals from the late 1960's and early 1970's for the most part, and the majority are...

Re: New wider-spaced nut for my '05 360/12

I purchased the new "wider nut" for my 2000 model Ric 360-12 that I have used extensively on the "You Tube" tour...LOL The change out was easy and I shaved it down a little at the time and got the string height where I wanted them. I did this nut change and put the Vintage Toaste...

I guess I'm swimming against the current here...but I actually like the large headstock...LOL Now don't get me wrong...I do think the smaller headstock looks nice as well. 8)

Re: YouTube Rics

Though I am no expert, especially on the Rickenbacker...I have a few videos on You Tube if you want to hear what a 360-12 with Toasters running into a Fender Hot Rod Deville 4-10 sounds like. Some folks seem to like the sound! -BC http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0EDfsk-1pyU My Back Pages Cover - Rick...

Re: Amps for "Byrds Jangle"

You know I love the combination of my Hot Rod Deville 4-10 with the Rickenbacker 360-12, but as stated earlier by another member, it's not a bedroom amp. My two complaints about that amp is it is very heavy(way more than 50 lbs I think) and very loud! I am going to look into a power soak or similar ...
