Re: Rickenbacker To Stop Lacquering Fretboads Starting Now

Can you make some more close-up photos of the fingerboard, from several different angles? Closer than the one above, and at higher resolution? TIA Let me know if these are helpful! https://i.imgur.com/xvIZyUG.png https://i.imgur.com/wwMW0Hq.png https://i.imgur.com/KMO1PHZ.png https://i.imgur.com/2F...

Re: Rickenbacker To Stop Lacquering Fretboads Starting Now

Hopefully lacquered fingerboards returning is a real thing. I've been shopping for a 360/6 and have passed on quite a few because they have an unfinished board. I'll have to wait for the next production runs if the right pre-owned deal doesn't come up. Oh, it's a real thing! Here is my Sept 2022 33...

Re: 12-string nuts and bridges

That does help and those are great photos showing the change of string spacing. What gauge and brand strings are you using? Do you notice any interference problems with the octave strings buzzing or rattling being that they are closer together? Do you have any problems with the low and high E strin...

Re: Rickenbacker To Stop Lacquering Fretboads Starting Now

I know this has been covered elsewhere, but I just got a Sept 2022 build of a 330 and it does have the lacquered fretboard again.
I saw a post where someone mentioned a July 2022 330 with an unlaquered fretboard, so they restarted somewhere last summer.

Re: 12-string nuts and bridges

I don't know if this is useful, but I had a RickySounds wide-spaced nut installed on my 2013 360/12 this week: https://i.imgur.com/WkiCiHY.jpg It's subtle, but you can see the spacing between octaves is reduced a bit, and then each set is spaced apart, pushing the Low E and High E further out toward...

Re: Picture of you playing your Ric...part 2

My Wife took some photos of my band up on stage, and recently uploaded some, so I thought I might as well post them here! I may have posted some already, but, oh well . . . :D http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2081/2227414251_694cae2aed.jpg http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2239/2218632209_3d79cc6926.jpg

Man brianeharmonjr, that 620 looks really nice!
I don't think I've seen that color on a 620 before.
