so i have had my rick for about 7 months now. been playing it for a few hours everyday. the stickyness of the neck has bothered me some. how can i smooth it down? my friend has a japanese fender with a similar finished neck and he used a sponge (green scouring side of those yello/green dishwasher ...

Recent raise in prices?

anyone notice the recent raise in prices of standard color rickenbbacker basses? in janruary musiciansfriend offered them for 985, now they raised the price more than 100 dollars. ive hear other online places are raiseing their prices too. is this a nationwide raise?

the mute on my brand new 4003 is messed, the high string will mute when i max out the thumb screws, but on the low string, if i max out the thumb screw it doesnt quite reach.

i thihk the brightness goes away with older strings. ive had my ric for roughly 3 months and its lost the brightness of the strings.

they are around 65 bucks in the US, i purchased one from ed romans site (probably not a wise decision, but its the only site ive found that sells them without the hassle of snail mail or fax). it would be cheaper to buy one and have someone in the US mail it to you im guesing
