Here's a bunch of Squire bass/equipment lists transcribed (not always accurately) from tour programmes in the 1970s, viewable on Forgotten Yesterdays. http://forgotten-yesterdays.com/tourbooks.asp (unfortunately programmes there from 1978-1980 tours, or pre-Close to the Edge, did not have gear lists...

I seem to recall him using the white 8 string Ric for the Roundabout encore in 1978 (their first In The Round tour). But it was a long time ago....

It seems GL may have only played his Ric once or twice

For a gig later this year, I'm working on "Firth of Fifth' and 'Cinema Show'. I know MR was playing his double-neck custom 4001 Ric/12 string combo back then, and played with a pick -- I'm going to try to make do with just my single necked '77 4001 (and a pick). It's been modded so I can switch...

Time to update this...I brought my '77 4001 and a pack of new Rotosound Swing Bass strings to Mark , and he did a *superb* job of setting it all up -- adjusting the action, intonation and pickup heights (the neck was OK as is), installed a bridge pickup cover (I removed it decades ago, but I have a ...

I was at two of the shows recorded for the 'Keys to Ascension' CD/video, and "America" was an absolute highlight both nights.

In the near term I just want to get the neck checked out and adjusted if need be by someone who won't screw it up, and in the long term, a place to have competent routine setup done and making sure the pups and electronics are all clean and working properly, when I'm too busy to do that myself.
