Re: 2 Mono Output Jacks?

Thank you Collin.

Perhaps the thinking was that it's mostly for looks (since the guitar it's roughly a reissue of had a dual input), but very very few people use RoS as designed, and often lament the stereo option when they plug into the wrong jack?

2 Mono Output Jacks?

Acquired a 360V64 and find that both output jacks are Mono. Is this "correct"? The 2nd jack is not ROS? Seems kind of odd to put in 2 jacks that are both the same...

Makes sense too, it's a lot more expensive to produce a neck-through design, so why do that for your student models?
Thanks Collin.

Non Neck-Through 1965 450/12?

Calling on the experts on this one. I was completely surprised when I took the pickguard off this guitar. A 1965 450/12 with a neck tenon and an apparent one-piece body. I wasn't aware Ric made any solid body guitars that were not neck through construction. Did they? This guitar certainly is not a n...

Re: 1965 420

The neck through is a gorgeous Birdseye - almost a burled Maple. Fabulous tone; so spanky and clear.

1965 420

She's certainly seen some use over the past 54 years. And she still enjoys a night out with the band.

Congrats on the new beauty!

I concur: Wildwood has great service and prices on Rics. I got 2 of mine from them.

1958 Combo 400

I bought this one in 2005 and recently finished some repair work it needed. It had been beautifully refinished (by Paul W?) sometime prior to my finding it on eBay, with the entire Neck-through-Body left natural, which was the way they left the factory. The pickup is the original Rowe-DeArmond and h...

Just came across your post while posting my '58 400.

Lovely job! I'll bet she sounds as good as she looks, too.

Re: 620 strings

Completely agree with Tommy Marco. Why try and create a problem ? Keep to the gauge the guitar comes with. To be honest I don't think you would really notice the difference anyway. I have 10s on my 6 and 12 acoustics, on my Fender Tele Thinline, my LP Studio, and my 660/6 and my 330/6 and of course...
