I also miss the get-togethers. We used to have an annual event in Southern California.
Several reasons why they have gone away include:
Since the heydays of events we've had reaccessions, the plannedemic, and crazy inflation.
This forum drove enthusiasm for events and so many of the veteran ...

I miss the vintage RRF days. Mark Parks Rick Page, Pick of the Ricks, sitting at the computer, on the RRF, watching new posts added at every blink of the eye, no matter what time of the day... even some of the dumb@## arguments. :lol:

One of the best parts about Rickenbacker is that they don't constantly change. It happens, but it's infrequent.



My sentiments exactly, Collin. I think tradition is a strong suit for RIC - and for their thousands of devotees. Not too mention that Rickenbackers are still some of the finest made ...

My DoubleBound 1981 370WB (six string) has Grover Star tuners original from the factory.

La Bella Low Tension Flats on my 4003.
These strings last for years.

Anyone know a competent Ric setup guy or gal in the Eugene/ Springfield Oregon area?

Should any competent setup person be able to set up a Rickenbacker, or is Ric experience advisable?

Sounds pretty good, Pat … I could hear that Ric 12-string ringing out clearly and it had a nice Jangle tonality to it.

Marc - Welcome aboard the RRF and don’t worry about the “When it Rains it Pours” …. I suspect the majority of people posting on the RRF have succumbed to Ric Acquisition Syndrome and none of us regret it !!
