Do you mean that the neck could be too bowed ?
Have you looked for any high/worn frets?
I didn't, could you tell me how to see that ?

The buzzing comes from the neck, and if I push a little on the string beyond the nut, it is less audible, but still present. I have a custom made nut (from bone), that was my luthier's attempt at preventing the buzzing...

I recently bought a Rickenbacker 325c58 and it has a buzzing problem. The B string is the only one to buzz, even unfretted. The luthier made me a new nut from bone, because on the old one the slot was too wide and the string even had a sitar effect. So with the new nut the sitar effect is gone ...
