Ditch the Jangle!

Rickenbackers don't have to jingle-jangle all the time. I really like how this (re-Issue) Rickenbacker 360 C64 12 String and 1964 Rickenbacker “Rose Morris” 1997 were recorded without effects straight into Vox amps, yet they get more of a Soul vibe than a typical Byrds jangle.

These guys are using a Rickenbacker 4003 bass fitted with a Lollar replica Horseshoe pick up and a Rickenbacker 660 guitar.

Went to see Roger Waters perform The Wall at Wrigley Field here in Chicago last night. One of his guitarists is G.E. Smith of Saturday Night Live fame. For the last song the band came out to the front of the stage and there was G.E playing a Jetglo 5002. Wonder of wonders.
