I just acquired my dream guitar: a 1959 335F in Fireglo.

I'm in love. Looks amazing and the sound is awesome! Now, my big question is - how to properly care for this instrument? I own several other Rics, but they are all early 90s or newer guitars. This is my first vintage Rickenbacker.

I am looking to convert my early 90's 330 to the early capri style 4 knob layout. What harness do I need/where can I find it?

The RIC boutique page only shows a 4 harness assembly for the 4003 series with the push/pull tone switch. Will that harness work?

You'd be better off getting really crafty and hollowing out a toaster pickup bobbin, getting the coil/guts of another pickup to fit inside of it, and then having the best of both worlds----different sound, classic look.

I've been trying to reach Dale via email for a while now and have been able to get ahold of him. I know he had some health problems back in the fall and am hoping he's alright. Has anyone heard from him lately?

Mike's custom made RIC screams because it doesn't have a stock p/u in the bridge position.
