Phillips Screw for Bigsby B5

Has any one had to modify their trem arm on the B5 so as to use the Phillips head screw? My Bigsby arm seems to have a mount that should be countersunk to allow the machine screw to fit farther in the arm. Otherwise the screw is too far raised. Any suggestion would be welcomed.

Re: in the short future i am going to meet tony sheridan jr

Tony Sr. is still kicking and is a really nice gentleman. I met him in '07 while in Hamburg, at the Indra Club where he and the Beatles played together. he was very generous with his time talking of old guitars and many other things. I didn't talk about The Beatles that much since I'm sure that's ...

I saw that guitar in the Nashville Hard Rock about 7-8 years ago.

Re: BeeGees' bass photo

Andrew,
Could you post a few shots of the back of the Gibb bass. That seems to be a nice plate attached to the back. I'm sure it is to save the finish and was that from Maurice or did you do that?

I happened to see Rain while in Liverpool a few weeks ago for Beatles Week. The did a really good job. At first I thought how familiar a few of them where, then I realized that Joey and Joe had been part of the original Beatlemania line-ups.
Almost like the Broadway production. They happened to be ...

I painted mine about 10 years ago while studying for law school finals. It was a great way to clear the head. It took me about 6 weeks at 4-5 hours a night. I did it in water based paint and had my guitar tech clear coat it with House of Kolor clear. The clearcoat is so hard it took about a week to ...

Daytripper is Paul playing lead.
And your bird has to be George. It's too complicated and precise for either John or Paul. They may have suggested the riff but how would they have been able to articulate the complexity that George pulled off.
I Feel Fine is a Lennon signature riff. Paul was never ...

Do a Google search for Fosters Leather in Birmingham Alabama. They are the ones who make all the straps for Stones, Who, Clapton, ZZ Top, ect. They do amazing work. Very expensive and takes their time.

The concert in NYC that Geraldo Rivera got going for the people of the Mental health facility, John plays the whole concert on the LP jr. Save for the few songs he plays the piano on.
On Come Together, the guitar wails. They're great little guitars.

George had a few photographs taken the same day while holding John's 325. He still was playing the Futurama at the time. I believe his next axe was the Duo-Jet.

People wondered about the shots with Stu just sitting in after Paul took over bass. Well here is proof if I can get the picture to upload.

Look at the lower left of the shot and you can see Paul's bass next to Stu playing his Hofner.

If you look at the CBS Morning Show clip that featured Russ Lease, you will see a copy that he has from Drum City. They were the ones that had the heads painted for the group. The one that I saw other than the Sullivan head is one from Madam Toussaud's museum or one just like it.

Concert for Diana

The concert is going on right now and I just saw Tom Jones. He has Paul "Wix" Wickens on keyboards and I noticed the 'MPL' roadcases with his gear. I have noticed at the LA secret show that Wix wasn't with Paul. I would'nt be surprised if Paul is the big secret surprise performer for the concert ...
