ahhh i see. thats makes sense as to be honest i dont know 'how bad' the frets really are! i hope its only enough for a crowning or leveling, but i guess i might need to go the whole way like you are. Thanks for the advice =p

hey guys, since acquiring my second rick (04 4003) i have not really been able to get the action as great as i would like without massive fret buzz, the problem seems to be massive grooves warn in some of the frets around the 5th. Im not sure if it just needs a fret dress, total refret or fret ...

Back Pickup cover????

Hey guys,
I have been having a tidy up and have found a Black pickup cover from my old 4003, seen as i now have one with chrome hardware i have no need for it.
Im looking to sell it and was wondering what kind of money i could ask for it.
I would need to cover the cost of a new chrome in the uk ...

wow theres some lovely basses here, more to come i hope. I must admit i have a love hate relationship with BT. My 4003 MB BT is my first and only rick, and was bought because of availability rather than trim option. Sometimes i just wish i had a more retro looking rick, like JG or FG with white ...

That 73 4001 is MOJO in bass form. i have always been attracted to the toaster/ hs combo, but for a finish like that i think i would even consider mugging my granny!!
