hope u all dont mind but i was just reading over this thread again and thought id give it a bit of a bump. anyone got any news on where aussies stand now? i was in a guitar shop the other day and there wasnt anything rickenbacker at all. i dont wanna sound stupid here but it bummed me out ...

Very nice, David. Looks much like my '97 Jetglo 325V59 which I Lennonized. I notice that the base of the bridge on yours has not been filed down where it meets the pickguard. Do your strings line up properly on the fretboard with it like that?

a couple more. this guitar come from japan and the case doesnt close. only the middle latch works if this helps lol im not too worried about finding the serial number or anything just have a look at it and let me know wat u guys think.

Hi David, just to echo what some others have added to the discussion--I seriously don't think you have a copy, I think you have the real deal whose previous owner put considerable effort into "Lennonizing" in order to make it as close to JL's first 325.

it doesnt have a serial number on the input jack is this normal? i asked the guy about it when i picked it up and he said some came out like that is this true? have i got a copy

Karl, sometimes they take a while to get back to people. I remember that I waited a while before they got back to me about ordering. My advice is to be patient, despite it being somewhat frustrating. Their boots are worth the wait.

im going to try 10s on it first and see how it goes . i know it probably wont sound as good but i can always work my way back up. i think i was struggling with the 12s cos im used to 10s and also used to playing a full size guitar. so maybe i just need time to play it and get used to it. it is alot ...
