When did they start using Kluson tuners? seems like a guitar that early should have Grover tuners?

I called Rickenbacker. they told me these were late combo 850's. would not say how many were made

Was this guitar found to be a 650? or 850?

Anyone know how many 425s were made in mapleglow in 65? Thanks
