Thanks for the info. I'm trying to imagine what a brand new design from JH would look like. It would still look like a Rick but completely new. 06' isn't TOO far away.

I've seen some talk of a 21 fret model on this thread but what's the advantage of 21? Why not 24? I know that I might be asking the obvious but did the original Capri only have 21 frets?

Mr Wonderful came out in 1968 back when it was a fresh and new band. Then the drama hit and they had to re-invent themselves for albums like "Tusk" and "Rumours" that came out around '77.
The best of album is great though and if anyone in this forum can play "Big Love" live like Lindsey can on that ...

Wow Thanks for the info Paul! That definetly answers my question. It still is an interesting concept to think about reguarding a RIC. Just think...Toasters and Hi-gains interchangable.

After looking back at the website the conversation was made at NAMM in 2002. I guess I'm not really sure what "changing the guard" means. Could someone please exaplain more. Sorry..I'm not to handy with the techs of pick-ups but I am curious on this one. Maybe something new for the 75th Anniversary ...

Modular Pick-up?

While i was looking at the Ed Roman guitar website the other day I noticed that One of Ed's rants was about a conversation that he had with John Hall about a modular pick-up that will be coming out in the near future. Anyone know what that means or what those are?

Question on Soundholes

While looking at the Ric acoustics I was wondering what if any difference there would be in the sound of a Jazz-Bo? Yes I know that no one owns one but there are other guitars out there that may be similar. I guess what I am asking is how a guitar with that design may sound.

Well hopefully I can get a picture of the band on tour to really get a look at the guitar guitar. Sounded great reguardless!
